This episode journeys along the Mekong river, a 4500km liquid thread which starts in China, and links together six countries across Asia. It flows southward across Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, providing life, water and fish to millions of people. We’re going to be following the Mekong on its course through Southeast Asia, stopping off along the way to meet some of the region’s most exciting and unexpected musical scenes.
