Anyone not all too familiar with the blues genre, may not have heard the name “Willie Dixon”. However odds are that they will have heard quite a few songs written by the man. He has played upright bass and sung on numerous recordings, yet is better known for writing and co-writing a plethora of blues hits, performed and covered by countless blues legends and major rock bands.  This episode is dedicated to the man who’s influence shaped the Chicago blues sound and provided a crucial link between blues and rock n’ roll.
