Die erste Sendung von 2020 kommt mit ein paar Lieblingsplatten von 2019! Die Platte, die mich 2019 am meisten verzaubert hat, ist Ernest Hoods “Neighborhoods”. Originalrelease war 1975, aber nur in winziger Auflage, für Hoods Freunde. Zum Glück wurde sie vergangenes Jahr auf Freedom to Spend wiederveröffentlicht! Die Platte ist eine auditive cinematische Perle, in der sich Field Recordings aus den 50er Jahren mit Zither- und Synthesizerspiel vermischen. Melancholisch warme entspannte Sommermusik, genau das Richtige für den kalten Januar. Eine Compilation, die ich viel gehört habe, ist die LateNightTales-Zusammenstellung von Floating Points, die letztes Jahr rauskam. Sehr gut! Von dieser Compilation sind in dieser Abendlandung drei Stücke vertreten: Kara-Lis Coverdales “Moments In Love”, Alain Bellaïches “Sea Fluorescent” und Carlos Walkers “Via Láctea”.
