Afroelectronik #20 Assurance Documentary Special w/ special guest Bakläxa

The first Afroelectronik of 2020 is an ‘Assurance’ documentary special. Assurance is a documentary directed by ‘Juba’ which explores the experiences of female DJs in Nigeria through the stories of DJ Yin, Sensei Lo and DJ Ayizan, who she met in Lagos last year.  

For this Assurance special, Juba is joined by Bakläxa, DJ, producer and editor of ‘Assurance’ and she discusses the process of making ‘Assurance’, as well as her take on what we discovered through the stories of the three Nigerian women stories.  The show also finishes up with an Afroelectronik inspired mix courtesy of Bakläxa.
