Astral Traveling #9 – Looking back at 2020, w/ Maxime L.
7 January 2021
Taking this first show of the new year to have a look back at 2020, a year filled with very bad news but astonishingly good music. This is not a best of or a ranking of any sort, as I played most of the tracks I loved this year in previous episodes already. It is more of an episode compiling the lost tracks of the year, the ones I haven’t discovered soon enough, the ones that for some reason didn’t fit in previous episodes or the ones that took some time to grow on me but that I can’t stop listening to since. Covering only tracks released in 2020, you’ll find – amongst else – a lot of tunes from South Africa which shows again how the country has been a powerhouse of great new music in the last year.
Due to technical issues, this show exceptionally doesn’t feature my voice and comments. Take this chance to focus entirely on the amazing music.
