The Bread. series returns with a cluster of improvised mixes under the title Bread.6K. Where 2016’s Bread.Live! took a hazy, nostalgic glance at the times as they were, Bread.6K aims to deal with the more immediate themes and subject matter of contemporary times and future theory whilst expanding the auditory spectrum of the mixes into further and more extreme territories. Utilising a mixture of improvised and generative process and incorporating artificial intelligence and a constant flux of momentary stimuli, the Bread.6K mixes are abstract compositions which aim to realign the Bread.Live! stream-of-consciousness practice with a more current point in time whilst simultaneously updating the resulting sonic output of the Bread. series.
