Ghost in the Shell (1995) with Charley McDermott

This first rendition of Bureau looks into the compositional work of composer, Kenji Kawai in Momoru Oshii’s Ghost in the Shell (1995). Blending the futuristic, urban, melancholic and sci-fi soundscore with other external works by the likes of Objekt, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Hirotaka Shirotsubaki, the show aims to give insight into the production methods of the animated film and create an audible response to the filmic world Kenji Kawai helped create.
