TUFO, “tuff” in English, refers the solid ground on which Siena’s foundations have been laid upon. Through this monthly radio show we will be unearthing the produce, the characters and the traditions of Siena, the Chianti area and Tuscany as a whole: a unique region, rich in flavour, beauty and contrasts. This month we are welcomed into the traditional ceramic studio of the Rampini family. It’s a portal into the ancient art of renaissance ceramics and the Chianti artisans who are continuing its vibrant legacy today. TUFO episode #2 was written and produced by the 53100 team.
