UP+OUT w/ DJ Tash, DJ Crazymind, Jamie Palta

UP+OUT is a new series joining fast tempos+far-away dance floors with rapid-fire guest mixes. Each episode features guest DJs’ 20-minute workout mixes that hang on the higher side of 160 beats per minute. December’s episode will warm up your heart as well as your body with a special collaboration from vocational+creative education NGO, Hope Center Uganda, which was co-founded by UP+OUT host Jamie Palta.

Our first guest this month is one of the top students from the Hope Center’s electronic music classes, 17 year-old Nakimu Gloria, aka DJ TASH, who has been learning to DJ and produce music at the Center for the past few months and has quickly skyrocketed to the top of her class

Following Hope Center’s top student is our main DJ teacher and Wer Waa resident, DJ CRAZYMIND, with his mix of dark footwork and original mashups of modern and traditional Acholi music

Wrapping things up is our host Jamie Palta, with a mix of personal favorite and objectively important 160 tracks from throughout the decade [mostly in order, with the exception of my favorite footwork track ever made, Everybody – DJ Rashad, bc in the words of Rashad himself, ‘IDGAF’. RIP]
