A cold saturday night in september akíi and Fisk got a call to fill in an empty slot at Cashmere Radio. The pair ended up playing a spontaneous set for a spontaneous party in the Radio. With the freedom an open and creative space gives, this genre bending set will take you through UK bass, jungle, electro, footwork, techno and more, fluctuating between bpms and styles.
Fisk plays the first two hours, then akíi for 1,5 h. Then they play b2b, with Fisk finishing the night off in the end.
Fisk is a sound artist and DJ based in Berlin. She seeks to explore the realms of club music with DJ and live sets that are eclectic and experimental. Influenced by various sounds from around the world, she often incorporates them into UK breaks and bass music. Also a performing and exhibiting artist, she clashes activism with artistic practice in the ethos of DIY.
