Cashmere Specials Improvisation for two violins and synths – Demiana w Guilain

The meeting of Demiana and Guilain in cashmere radio led to a 30 minutes violin conversation over synths drones and delayed looper. Sharing violin as a common language, they decided to create a moment of free expression in a desire to explore a different way of approaching this instrument, often framed by scores. As a starting point, they took inspiration from the Maqam Hijaz scales yet taking the freedom to modulate it. The result is a moving, sometimes dreamy, sometimes chaotic journey.

Demiana is the author of the "Yalla listen" show. Guilain compose music under the name "Oswild"
