Movement, Diversity, Festivity, Transformation. With ACROSS we ask how we as neighbours, as people with diverse biographies, human beings with vulnerable bodies, can come together in public space through artistic intervention, reaching across communities and crises. During our research in the last two years of lockdown, we identified a strong need for corporeal and immediate encounters and meetings, for exploration through exchange and interaction. How can multiple artistic interventions turn the public space in Berlin Wedding into a safer space for all people? ACROSS brings together international Berlin-based dancers, artists, musicians and a diverse audience in an urban setting, with a focus on unconventional movement.
