- Talk Show
Arts of the Working Class presents a foundational prototype, a trust for aesthetic, social and economic values, an interventionist group for a joyful transformation of exploitative and precarious working conditions in the arts, a community-driven response to our shared vulnerability.
Rewriting history from the 19th century and the Parisian Salon des Refusés, AWC invites everyone who has been refused by the capitalist system to join L’Union des Refusés. In this broadcast Paweł Sochacki, María Inés Plaza Lazo and Alina Kolar introduce the novel idea, structure, and practice of this global organization for art workers to find fair working conditions, as well as relations of trust, to divorce from the speculative and toxic entanglements of the so-called art world.
Join them and the Union to mobilise against inequality in the artworld and on the streets.
