Cashmere Talks – On the Border of EuropaCity

Zwischen 2018 und 2019 hat das Projekt Am Rand von EuropaCity öffentliche Spaziergänge, Workshops und eine künstlerische Intervention in der und um die Europacity in Berlin Mitte organisiert. Das Projekt bringt Nachbar*innen und Wissenschaftler*innen mit der neuen urbanen Landschaft und miteinander in Dialog durch Prozesse des kollektiven Zuhörens. So lenkt das Projekt die Aufmerksamkeit auf die fortwährenden lokalen/globalen Entwicklungen und adressiert Fragen zu Europa und zur Stadtentwicklung, zu kulturellen Räumen und Nachbarschaft.

Im September 2022 wurde aus dem Projekt die Ausgabe #9 der Berliner Hefte zur Geschichte und Gegenwart der Stadt veröffentlicht.

Between 2018 and 2019 the project On the Border of EuropaCity has organised public walks, workshops and an intervention in and around the Europacity in Berlin Mitte. Bringing neighbors and specialists into dialogue with the new urban landscape by means of collective listening, the project draws attention to the ongoing local/global developments and addresses questions of Europe, city planning, cultural spaces and community.

In september 2022 we published issue #9 of the Berliner Hefte zur Geschichte und Gegenwart der Stadt to instigate further reflections in the public discourse.
