‘Harvest’ is composed around a sound harvest session, recorded in the art studio of Moriaariava, on August 11th 2025. It consisted of the artists Moriaariava, Tonbo, Caratoes, Darja Samdan, Ben Okamoto, Dylan Bakker, and myself. The session itself was quite potent; It felt as though we opened up a portal to the domain of some smoldered spirit. The collective channelling of this fiery energy certainly informed the mix, though it found itself quite thoroughly drenched in murky, melancholic pools in this final form.

Harvest was an attempt to articulate the wistfulness of the end of summer, and certain heartaches i was experiencing at the time. Generally speaking this radio-show acts a journal of sorts for me, though this one somehow feels particularly naked. It was originally broadcast on September 17th of 2025, and here we are- just one year later- when the final tweaks and tunes of the arrangement could be laid down, and it felt right to release. I don’t fully know why it took me so long to share this one again… perhaps that nakedness… perhaps my insistence on each and every detail being just as i like it. That’s tricky with community radio of course, I’m trying to loosen up that grip… nevertheless, here it is.
