Welcome back to Dreamboat a radio show for where scepticism is always on ice and that optimism you just bit into expired last week. After a six-week summer hiatus, Dan and Leo return to broadcasting from Berlin-Wedding, and it's all about entertainment, baby – it just took 30 minutes for them to realise they were offline. So as you're listening take satisfaction knowing you know more than them as they sit there in that dusty studio, at a time too early for speaking, speaking to dead air. Maybe they’re not of age yet, just like those big babies who need a milky iced drink the size of a bottle in their hand to roam the streets without throwing their toys out of the pram. Departing from some holiday musings about the Bay of Naples, to a very on-brand discussion of the advent of Pumpkin Spice Latte season, all the way down to a Berlin report on Edeka’s newest advertising campaign “Survival of the Frischest” at Potsdamer Platz, life comes thick and fast today, thrown into the hate blender and set to the "smoothie" setting. Tuesday is the day the broccoli goes brown, so screw it! To bridge the excitement of new beginnings, we take you from puerile fascination of boats, dinosaurs, and rattles to pubertal bitching about Berlin Art Week and city marketing efforts larping as art discourse.
