Welcome to episode #4 of the EARS OF A COMPOSER. This week we’re going to Paris.

To a place where many of us, due to Covid-19 measures, probably haven’t been in a while: an art gallery!

And not just any art gallery. We’re going to the Centre Pompidou.

You are going to hear the Acoustic Canvas underneath the art works. The sound of art.

Sometimes the visual can be overwhelming and distracting and we may forget to hear while we’re looking at artworks.

But of course, every art work has a sound, even if it wasn’t intended by the artists themselves.

This is the first 30 minutes of my visit at Centre Pompidou from August 2020. We are visiting a temporary gallery of Jeanne-Claude & Christo.

You’re invited to close your eyes and listend to the sound of visual art.
