WAVES AND VOICES ARE CONSTANTLY AROUND YOU, 

AND YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE FROM IT.

IT JUST LIKE IT IS

SOMETIMES IT’S NIGHTMARE

SOMETIMES IS HOODIE

AND

SOMETIMES YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING 

BUT YOU WAIT FOR IT

THE BEST SOLUTION IS SPACE

Grupa Etyka Kurpina

“Grupa Etyka Kurpina” is a project that explores the techniques of audio collage and plunderphonics using samples cut from audio cassettes, VHS cassettes, old radio shows, commercials, and other assorted sources. The work is assembled live using cassette tape players. It is run by theater director, and founder of the independent record label Pionierska Records, Adam Frankiewicz. His work is inspired by the achievements of the artists associated with the Experimental Studio of Polish Radio. Adam has designed and recorded dozens of sound collages released on 9 albums in the spirit of D.I.Y.
