Bahama Kaosz is the moniker of Budapest-based DJ, radio presenter and avid record collector Csaba Berenyi. For our latest radio show, he prepared a special sound sculpture with voice as the red thread unraveling across the aural narrative. Mangled, manipulated, screeching – the various forms and guises of vocal expression culminate into a psychedelic sonic voyage. The audio collage is composed of avantgarde compositions, with Katalin Ladik, Sten Hanson, Mauricio Kagel, music from Japan, Java and Benin as well as a field recording of a Hungarian silent disco party.
