Eastern Daze #31 Szara Reneta label special
4 January 2021
Szara Reneta is a micro label established in 2017. Focused on field recordings and noisy experimental music from the Tatra Mountains on the Slovak-Polish border, it is run by Maciej Wirmański – a field recordist and sound artist. Their latest releases include an album which aims to “hear like the city might sound from a perspective of a mouse, or a bat, a bird or even a fish”, field recordings from the recent pro-choice protests in Poland, the sounds of Tbilisi or a recording exploring vocal automatism.
