Hwoarang heard the word that a demon had appeared in town. It was difficult to comprehend what the fight was going to be about or what it would be for, but it was easy to understand why it had to take place. To manifest the feeling, the emotion – this was going to be a long voyage inward. Realising, no matter the outcome, it would ultimately be won for the heart – the ensuing turmoil vanished suddenly, without a trace. For there will always be another sunset to look forward to.

On the latest episode of Fantasy Fiction, we have special guest Hwoarang, aka Peter Mangan taking over the controls with a meandering and explorative mix diving into some of the influences and inspirations behind his upcoming record “Won For The Heart.”

Peter is one of the founding forces behind Salon Oblique, a Berlin based event series specialising in interdisciplinary, hybrid-format production and experimental concept execution. ‘Won For The Heart’ is his first album under the Hwoarang pseudonym and will be released soon on Fantasy Fiction Records
