Fictions #18 – The Special Gift

Over the weekend, I was trying to think of a theme for the show whilst browsing my record collection. I just went through a very intense period (PhD/daily job/music) and I wouldn’t feel as warm and confident if it wasn’t for the amazing people surrounding me. I wanted to record something to thank them for their kindness and support … and realized I had many records which were given to me as gifts. Spontaneously, I collected most of them and tried to put them together live in the studio at Cashmere. Which ended up being a very interesting … emotional … somehow also very funny experience! Gelukkige Sinterklaas 🙂
