Gadiamb’ Episode 5: Special Guest Aalia

For this special episode of Gadiamb', I invited Aalia, an Egyptian/German DJ, to talk about her evolution in the music scene. The first half of the show is a music showcase of her diverse influences, weaving a story between past and present, from Cairo to Berlin.

In a small interview we discussed the creation of the shaabi-electro and our own development as music lovers and DJs, going back to our respective roots and trying to infuse them in our music.

The last part of the podcast is an experimental B2B, mixing of two different traditions, two different rhythms, two different histories, creating new possibilities.
