We went fishing and discovered a treasure box!
In this box we found the guest appearance of Tropicaza, real name Carlos Icaza. He is a mexican DJ, musician, journalist and researcher of Latin-American sounds and beyond. He runs the super cool party “A mover el bote” in the heart of Mexico City, host a radio show for dublab.com and is a longtime collaborator for labels like Vampisoul and Electroharmonics.
He was touring this Summer with La Redada and he visited I dream of Piranhas to share with us beautiful songs and records that he recently found on his trip.
The result was a playful and super fun mix of sounds and interesting bands, new, old, rare and not so rare.
