Taking its name from a workshop series developed in collaboration with Bulevard Art & Media Institute,Tirana, this episode brings together field recordings, collective research, and conversations recorded in and around Tirana during the spring of 2024.

Taking personal relations to the city’s noise pollution as its point of departure, the workshops featured discussions on noise with participants from Bulevard’s 2024 Young Artist Atelier, who were invited to reflect on the ways in which the city’s high levels of noise dictates much of daily life, and how their experiences can be understood within Albania’s wider socio-historical context.

The episode also features interviews with Esmerina Hidri on Tirana’s No Noise Project, and Simon Battisti, director of Qendra Marredhenie (The Relationship Centre), a Tirana-based urban planning initiative focused on designing for infants, toddlers, and caregivers.
