Graycode and jiiiiin’s work is intensely focused and disciplined. Using digital imagery and tonal and textural sounds, the works take a sparing approach to topics like the speed of light or the Planck length not as subjects in themselves but as primers for the attention of the audience. Despite the sparing and largely unrefferentual quality of the work, devoid of any apparent symbolism sonically or visually, I was surprised to learn that they take great care to consider the limits of attention and sensorial comfort of the audience.
