INSIJAM #11 with Anna Schimkat “MACHT EUCH AUF DIE SOCKEN”

playing/experimenting with Anna Schimkat Research-based sound installation titled “MACHT EUCH AUF DIE SOCKEN // TIMELESS MOVEMENT IN SOCKS (2022-24)” was a beautiful journey – the show started with having the English version on one CDJ and the German version on another CDJ – then changing the tempo/looping/adding effects to both pieces, until by chance i looped a part of the English version and suddenly i heard "beirut" so kept the loop for almost the remaining time of the show – accompanied with records of Musique Concrète, Arabic Traditional sounds, Lebanese folk music & instrumental pieces, and field recordings –
