Never mind Abendlandung … here comes OM – Organic Minimalism!

After 17 Jears of broadcasting, the show formerly known as Abendlandung will continue under a different name. What was once intended as a German-language pun of the three words Abend (evening), Landung (landing) and Abendland (Occident/ Europe), has become outdated, partly because of its connotations with right-wing and fascist ideologies who feel they must defend „European values“ (I would rather call them illnesses) against The Other. So the time has come for two little changes: the title and the language, which will be english from now on. The philosophy and aesthetic of the show remains the same.

The new title is inspired by Moki & Don Cherry’s culture-connecting Organic Music Society, and will feature music that was made by artistic bodies with senses, organs, and souls. And it features music by artists who value the approach „less is more“.
