This episode looks at the company Panasonic, which accompanied the Japanese population through two world wars before opening up to the global market. Its celebrated founder Matsushita has a museum dedicated to him and his inventions and the show is interjected with a selection of his wise words archived on scrolls. Through TV commercials of the various ages, we hear how the company portrays itself. We start and end with radio calisthenics.
