Welcome to June's transmission!

The current state of the world has been giving me mixed emotions. And that's exactly what these 86 minutes entail … a gumbo pot of emotions. I improvised with no clear end goal, just my feelings. We start off Jazzy, Lingala, then Ethnic- I finally get to share a treasure trove of field recordings of some indigenous communities in Africa recorded by Hugh Tracy many decades ago from Congo, Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia etc. After this … lemme not give a synopsis, the music is here, press play. It's quite the trip, all pun intended.
