A very special episode with a very special guest – Brian Pyle of Ensemble Economique, a wonderful project merging noirish shoegaze with cinematic wave and hazy and ecstatic ambience. Check his music in the link below.
For the show, he picked some classic grittier post punk cuts, Ethiopian jazz classics, Japanese new wave experiments and jewels from the thriving Latvian 80’s synth avantguarde. From my side, I chose some fresh pieces of ambient, folk, radiophonic waters.
