the last episode of the summer.
In this show, I talk about political issues while improvising on the qanun, a traditional instrument with deep roots in the East. This episode focuses on Palestine, and the violence so many people face around the world.
I reflect on what it means to witness a genocide through a phone screen, to live with the privilege of turning it off, and how music can carry the weight of those who cannot speak freely.
This is a personal response—using music as a way to stay connected, to speak, and not to forget.
