This month we’re interviewing our pal Alice Lambert about her article 'On Trends: Fashion and climate anxiety'. Acknowledging the impact of the fashion industry on various aspects of environmental breakdown, we consider the politics of trends (from disposability to sustainability), paying specific attention to the emotions provoked by consumerist capitalism, precarity and ecological collapse. But it’s not all doom & gloom: aided by fashion-themed musical interludes, we make sure to carve out some space for creativity and the imagination of utopian alternatives.
