Trouble in Paradise #12 w/ Teplice & Floral Notes

This month we're interviewing Alifiyah Imani and Vladimir Razhev about their construction of an eight channel sound installation ~an entropy of one's own~ as part of the Errant Sound Dystopia Sound Art Biennial. Featuring metallic objects, clay pots, rice grains, exciters, speaker drivers, 3D printed elements and a custom-made sound device, Imani and Razhev's project encompasses "the tension of unresolved processes in entropy, a phantom-like omnipresence reflecting as a reminder that everything is in a perpetual state of flux". Following an interview with both artists, we profile Imani's accompanying composition, musically comprised of sustained tones, harmonics and cyclical patterns.

The installation is open to view every weekend until the end of September 15:00-19:00, Errant Sound @ Miss Read, Gerichtstr 45 in Wedding.
