Anou Residency: Medina Ecstasy

For the exchange project with the Anou cooperative we spent 11 days in Fes el Bali, the old medina of Fes. This sound collage – made exclusively with outdoor field recordings of the medina – attempts to capture and convey the acoustically rich, saturated and at times overwhelming soundscape of the district.

This project was made possible thanks to IFA (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), and was developed as part of their CCP Synergy Program.
