The second series of our Radio as Social Sculpture residency program is with the one and only Luzie Meyer.
Across two months, the Berlin-based interdisciplinary artist, writer and translator will present RIMA CARA: a series of performances, conversations and radio shows at Cashmere Radio based around her research into early-modern women’s Trobairitz poetry. RIMA CARA approaches the existent, imagined and forgotten works of the Trobairitz from a variety of angles and using a variety of cultural forms, thereby opening up the latent possibilities of a much understudied poetic and musical form and its idiosyncratic expressions of desire, the disavowed in courtly manners and poetic posturing.
