PERLMUTT aka Pearlescent is a show by Sloushy and Zarrt
and international guests visiting from all around the realm of sound.
Sloushy and Zarrt / Sigourney Pilz and Thomas Fornoff are a berlin based multimedia artist duo that is working under diffrent alias solo, in duos or collectives since 2011.
Their mixes move between adventurous freeform soundcollages and cutting edge club abstractions in different contexts.
In the field of sound, in addition to DJ sets, they experiment with forms of artistic research in natural sciences and affective science.
Fieldrecordings, sounds and music serve as their language to invite the listeners to take on different perspectives and consciousness-expanding states.

As curators, eventorganizers, performers and multimedia artists the planing of their events ,like the „Pechüler Beckenrand , include holistic approaches of social art and practises to explore the potential of collective learning ,perceiving and interchange.
Creating an enviroment where people can connect with each other and the ecosystems around them,
earned a big focus in their current way of work.
